TWO patients were taken to hospital following a crash near Meliden Golf Club.
The incident, which happened on Meliden Road, Prestatyn, on May 24, involved two vehicles.
A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: "We were called at 7.52am to a report of a a two vehicle road traffic collision.
"We attended along with fire and ambulance service colleagues.
"The road was blocked so traffic was diverted whilst recovery was arranged for the vehicles and the road was opened shortly after 10.30am."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8am yesterday morning, Monday 24 May, to Meilden Road in Prestatyn to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a van.
"We attended scene with two rapid response vehicles and two emergency ambulances.
"Two patients were taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital for further treatment."
North Wales Police tweeted sometime after 8am on May 24 that there had been an accident.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
