BRITAIN'S Got Talent finalist Gruffydd Wyn is back on the road with a new tour as lockdown restrictions ease.

Wyn, from Amlwch, Anglesey, will perform tracks from his debut album ‘Chapter One’ including 'Rule The World', 'Solitaire', 'Cyn i’r Llenni Gau' and 'Hold My Girl'.

The Welsh tenor, who was the Can I Gymru (Song For Wales) Champion of 2020, will also sing well-known songs from the world of musical theatre, pop and opera, with some hauntingly beautiful Welsh folk songs.

The 25-year-old rose to fame on national TV when he auditioned for the 2018 series of Britains Got Talent, performing an incredible rendition of Puccini's Nessun Dorma which earned Amanda Holden's golden buzzer. It sent him straight to the semi-finals of the show and he then gained a place in the coveted final, watched by 11 million people.

Since his success on Britains Got Talent, Gruffydd went on tour in 2019, when he supported dance group Diversity, who themselves reached national popularity after beating BGT finalist Susan Boyle in 2009.

Gruffydd Wyn has made a number of appearances in North Wales including at Bangor University for the North West Cancer Research charity in 2019.

An Evening with Gruffydd Wyn takes place at 5.30pm on Saturday, October 2.

The show is bilingual including Welsh and English language.

Tickets cost £18.

Health and safety restrictions will be in place if necessary.
