CONWY County Borough Council (CCBC) and Denbighshire County Council (DCC) wish to make residents aware of some of the temporary traffic orders being imposed in both areas.

CCBC has made the following orders:

Prohibit vehicles proceeding through Hafodunos Llangernyw at Pont Rhyd Y Gerwyn. This is necessary to facilitate works to the bridge. Order comes into effect on May 20, lasting around nine weeks.

Prohibit vehicles to proceeding through Allt Ddu Llansannan at Rhydyrarian New Bridge - necessary to facilitate works to the bridge. Order comes into effect on May 20, lasting around 16 weeks.

The following closures by DCC are also necessary to facilitate surface dressing carried out by the Works Unit and all expected to last between May 24 and October 24.

Pont y Cambwll to Junction near Ffynnon Beuno, Tremeirchion.

Graigfechan to Derwen Llanerch, Pentrecelyn

Entire length of Derwen Llanerch Junction to Llidiart Fawr Junction, Pentrecelyn,

Llidiart Fawr Junction to Ty Newydd, Llandegla

Also included on DCC's list of closures is and order prohibiting the use of Birch Hill Llangollen. This closure is necessary to facilitate a new water connection by Hafren Dyfrdwy and comes into force on June 7.

Another will see vehicles prohibited from using unclassified road known as Saron to Nantyci Junction, Saron. The closure is necessary to facilitate surface dressing by Denbighshire County Council and effective from May 24.
