A CONTROLLED fire was left unattended at a park in Rhyl.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew to the incident on Rhydwen Close just before 7.55pm on Sunday, April 11.
Two square metres of wood had been set on fire during a controlled burn, a fire service spokesperson said.
A fire service spokesperson said: "We were called to Rhydwen Close playground, Rhyl at 7.53pm on Sunday, April 11. One crew from Rhyl attended.
"The fire affected two square metres of wood. A controlled natural burn had been left unattended.
"A Scotty backpack was used."
