A FIRE broke out at Prestatyn Town FC's football ground on Thursday morning.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent to crews to Bastion Gardens just before 10.30am.
The incident involved the club's academy portacabin.
Prestatyn Town FC tweeted: "Disgraceful scenes down our ground as we speak as a huge fire has broken out in the club's academy port-a-cabin. Fire services are tackling the blaze right now."
A fire service spokesperson said: "We were called to the incident at 10.29am. We have two appliances and officers in attendance.
"The fire involves a portacabin. The fire is now out and crews are damping down."
Prestatyn Town, known as the Seasiders, resumed its academy set-up on Monday following the easing of coronavirus restrictions on under-18s outdoor activities.
Andrew Ruscoe, general manager for Prestatyn Town FC, said: "This is a disgrace! Seriously why would anyone want to do this to a football club that engages the children, the community and provides opportunity to its community."
