SOLO pianist Dinara Klinton will perform classical treats for Rhyl Music Club (RMC).

In the last of the RMC 2021 virtual series, the assistant professor at the Royal College of Music will recite Taneyev, Mendelssohn and Percy Grainger.

Dinara was a stunningly good pianist by the age of eight after studying at Kharkiv, Ukraine before training in Moscow.

The 31-year-old has performed at festivals including the Progetto Martha Argerich Festival in Lugano, Aldeburgh Proms and La Roque d’Antheron, and top halls such as Royal Festival Hall, Berlin Philharmonic and New York 92Y.

David Birch, chair of RMC, said: “The decision to put our concerts online has been well received and has taken listeners to some unusual and interesting venues they would not otherwise have been able to experience.

“Likewise, being virtual has meant that Rhyl Music Club has become known to audiences as far away as Switzerland, the USA and Australia.”

RMC will not stage another show until October, according to its 70-year tradition, when it hopes to have live performances back on stage with the easing of coronavirus restrictions.

The show takes place from 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 24.
