POP STAR Olly Murs has confirmed a new date for his Stadium Zip World concert.

The Troublemaker singer, who came to national attention for coming second in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, will perform in Colwyn Bay on Friday, August 12, 2022.

It will be the last performance of the 2021/2022 tour, in which Murs will perform some of his biggest hits, including tracks from his recently certified triple platinum album Never Been Better.

The show was due to take place on August 13 this year however it was cancelled due concerns around coronavirus restrictions. Previously bought tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

Murs said: “To all my fans in North Wales, I’m so excited to come and perform for you at this beautiful location.

"See you there."

Murs is still set to stage 11 shows in 2021, beginning at Haydock Park on Saturday, July 17.

The star has four UK number one singles: Please Don't Let Me Go, Heart Skips a Beat, Dance With Me Tonight and Troublemaker.

Pablo Janczur, director of Orchard Live, said: “Olly’s one of the UK’s biggest performers. He played this venue for us back in 2012, and will make a massively popular return next summer when we can hopefully get back to seeing some great live music.”
