BONES found on a Flintshire beach were reported to police.
Officers from North Flintshire policing team went to Talacre beach after a member of the public discovered the bones on February 22.
The bones were recovered and photographed, with the photograph then sent for expert analysis.
The experts concluded that the bones were not human and were most likely from an animal.
Sgt Matt Subacchi said: "Officers were called to Talacre beach where bones had been found by a member of the public while out walking. The bones were photographed and the photographs were sent to experts for them to review and establish whether they are human or not.
"We have now had confirmation that the bones are not human and are from an animal of some kind."
