PROM Xtra will move from the beach to the internet this spring due ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
The one-day festival, which usually features family-friendly activities including a fair as well as performances by community dance and music groups, will be held virtually on May 8.
Organiser Events Conwy said: “We understand it’s disappointing for many who are looking forward to returning to enjoy family-friendly activities. But for now we must stay at home to save lives.
“Event planning takes time which is why we’re now making this announcement for all partners, traders and visitors to know.
Cllr Louise Emery, Conwy council cabinet member with responsibility for events, added: “We’re thrilled some of our line-up can provide a variety of entertainment for our virtual Prom Xtra. We congratulate and appreciate how so many have adapted during the past twelve months.”
