THE Range will open a branch of Iceland within its Rhyl store this month.

The store within The Range on Marina Quay will open on Friday, February 26.

A spokesperson from retailer said: “From your essential fresh fruit and veg to Gregg’s and Slimming World specials, your new Iceland in The Range will be packed full of everything you need for your weekly food shop. Including meat and dairy produce, alongside store cupboard staples and frozen food, there’s plenty to choose from.

“Alongside fresh produce, the Iceland selection features Gregg’s famous sausage rolls in frozen form (perfect for a quick lunch), affordable multipacks of crisps to keep the kids happy, and even a wide choice of frozen desserts, Slimming World ready meals, and your classic on-the-go favourites like Naked Noodles and Cup -a-Soups.”

The Range Rhyl has made additional changes to its store to ensure that customers can shop for their essentials safely and in line with government guidance.

These include social distancing markers to help people stay a safe distance apart, sanitising stations at the entrance and contactless card payment where possible.

B&M Bargains is set to open its premises on Marina Quay in March. The variety store chain agreed a 10-year lease agreement with Scarborough Group International (SGI) for the 26,000 square foot store last year.

It will offer food, drink, baby food and pet food as well as health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials and toys and games. More than 60 jobs are set to be created.

The out of town scheme houses Aldi, The Range, Farm Foods and Greggs.

A new Costa Coffee drive thru unit has also secured planning permission, further complementing the park’s offer.

There are currently just three units of between 1,500 and 6,000 sq ft remaining on the park.
