Rhyl has been a favourite destination for summer holidays for generations, with people coming from far and wide to enjoy the long sandy beach and bustling front.
Pictured in its heyday is a postcard from the collection of history columnist, the late Elvet Pierce, courtesy of his son Brynmor. No date but the stamp mark is 1969.
The Journal is asking readers to share their memories or photos of summers or days out at Rhyl.
Did you have your first date with your partner there or maybe building sandcastles and splashing about were more your thing.
Whether it was the best ice cream or seaside entertainment, share you memories.
