THE re-opening of a refurbished fast-food restaurant has been delayed.
KFC in Rhuddlan, located on Castle View Retail Park, was due to re-open on January 30.
It is believed that work had to be postponed after a constructor worker suspected they had Covid.
The restaurant, the specialises in fried chicken, did not respond to the claim in their statement to the Journal.
A KFC Spokesperson said: “We hate to keep our fans waiting, but like with everything we’ve done over the past year, operating responsibly is our number one priority.
"We’re following government guidelines every step of the way and can’t wait to be back at the fryers in our shiny new coop when the time is right.
"For fans who can’t wait, there’s always our restaurant in Rhyl, Wellington Road – a 10 minute drive away”
