A LITTLE boy who doesn't like the rain is taking on a fundraising challenge that will see him venture out all weathers.

Joseph Crowe, aged five, is raising money for St Kentigern Hospice in St Asaph.

The Ysgol Hiraddug pupil will walk 30 miles in 30 days.

Laura, Joseph's mum, said: "This is a big challenge for Joseph as he doesn't like walking and doesn't like the rain.

"He has set his own fundraising target as £150 and has already reached just over £1,000 for the hospice”.

As a result of the pandemic, St Kentigern Hospice has lost 60 per cent of their fundraising income.

The charity has been forced to shut all 10 of their shops and have stopped face-to- face fundraising activity including events and lottery cash collections.
