BETSI Cadwaladr Health Board has revealed how many people failed to turn up for their Covid vaccine appointment at a rainbow hospital in Bangor over the last couple of days.
The North Wales health board has said that 16 out 774 people (2%) failed to attend their Covid jab appointment at Ysbyty Enfys Bangor in the last two days.
Teresa Owen, Betsi Cadwaladr's executive director of Public Health, said: "We have not experienced a significant problem with people failing to attend their vaccination appointments. Because we operate a stand-by list for our priority groups, we have experienced minimal wastage as a result of the very small number of missed appointments.
"It’s very important that people make every effort to keep to their vaccination appointment."
