A COACH company has cancelled its holiday tours over the next three months amid rising Covid-19 cases.

Dyserth business Voel Coaches said the decision followed "careful consideration" as ongoing coronavirus restrictions show no sign of being relaxed.

The lockdown across Wales has been in place since December 20 with travel prohibited without a reasonable excuse.

Customers will be contacted over the coming days to receive a refund or reschedule their holiday to April or later in the year.

Voel Coaches said in a Facebook post: "After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel all of our tours and day trips up to March 31.

"Our office will remain shut to customers for the time being.

"Customers who were due to travel with us between January and March will be contacted within the next couple of days.

"We kindly ask if you can wait for us to contact you to go through your options which include, a full refund, to transfer to another trip later in the year or to keep your money in credit.

"We look forward to welcoming you back onboard once it is safe to do so and we want to thank you for your continued support."
