MORE than £5,000 has been raised through a raffle to help the castle used for I’m A Celeb install water and power.

Gwrych Castle, which hosted I’m A Celebrity....Get Me Out of Here! 2020, has been raffling prizes such as Sir Mo Farah’s coat (signed) that he wore on the show and a golden star.

Beverley Callard’s signed coat plus a gold star has also been raffled off as well as a number of other prizes.

A spokesperson for Gwrych Castle said: “The final amount raised from all five raffles is £5,414. We’ve been overwhelmed with all the support we’ve received this year from the local community and the rest of the UK to ITV and I’m A Celebrity who put on such a great show.

"We will continue to fundraise with our gofundme page in order to bring services back to Gwrych Castle permanently for the first time in 40 years.

“We’re moving closer to the 50 per cent mark to bring services back to Gwrych Castle.”
