A Pensarn man has been jailed after he admitted sending indecent or grossly offensive WhatsApp messages to three women.
Judge Nicola Jones at Caernarfon crown court told Barry Lee , 43, of Marine Road, Pensarn, Abergele, that in May last year he received a suspended sentence for attempted sexual communication with a child.
“You had your chance in 2019. By now we are at the stage of needing to protect women from you,” Judge Jones declared.
He was jailed for eight months for the latest offences and three months of the suspended sentence activated, making a total of eleven months imprisonment. A restraining order will last indefinitely.
Prosecutor Nicola Williams said Lee sent rude messages including lewd snaps.
Elen Owen, defending, said the women were friends or acquaintances. He’d been drunk and had engaged with an organisation to address his alcohol problem.
Counsel added that the foodbank volunteer was “very sorry.”
