PRESTATYN will host their virtual Christmas light switch-on this week.
Due to Covid, a physical event is not able to take place but this hasn't stopped the town getting into the festive spirit.
The event, which will feature performances from school children in the area, will be streamed on Facebook on November 26 at 4.30pm.
A spokesperson for Prestatyn Town Council said: "Please join us for our first ever Virtual Christmas Light switch-on which goes live on Facebook @whatsonprestatyn on Thursday.
"It will feature some wonderful performances from our local schools and a very special guest.
"Tune in to help celebrate the switch on of our festive lights."
The town council also has other events planned including a Zoom calls with Father Christmas.
