STATUS Quo legend Francis Rossi will rock on over to Colwyn Bay as part of his world tour of spoken word.

The musician is fresh on the heels of his best-selling autobiography I Talk Too Much and number one country album We Talk Too Much, which shows the 71-year-old has little intention of slowing down anytime soon.

He will be joined in conversation by fellow best-selling author and music journalist Mick Wall, founding editor of Classic Rock Magazine who led press campaigns for the likes of Thin Lizzy and The Damned.

Rossi, lead singer and guitarist for the boogie rock band that produced hits such as Rockin' All Over The World and Whatever You Want, will also take his guitar on stage to treat fans to more relaxed acoustic music.

Status Quo have sold over 100 million records worldwide, including 65 hit singles and 32 hit albums spanning five decades in which the band saw highs and lows, which were laid bare in Rossi's book. He will discuss them in further detail at the Colwyn Bay theatre, from his humble beginnings in south east London before rising to fame in the 1960s, his battles with addiction, being a father to eight children and continued artistic success in later life.

The show I Talk Too Much takes place at Theatr Colwyn on Sunday, March 14.

Tickets start at £30. Super VIP tickets including a pre-show meet and greet are priced at £75, and VIP tickets at £40.
