FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a blaze at a Flintshire home.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 9pm on Monday reporting the incident, at a flat in Fisherman's Road in Connah's Quay.
Two crews attended the scene - one each from Deeside and Flint.
It was confirmed that the flames were out when the firefighters arrived, but they used ventilation and two sets of breathing apparatus.
A spokesman confirmed the incident had been caused by a chip pan which was left unattended.
The incident was declared over just after 9.15pm and nobody was injured, the spokesman added.
