AN Appeal for witnesses has been launched after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision in Prestatyn.

North Wales Police took to social media to ask for witnesses to the accident in Victoria Road, yesterday, Sunday, October 25, to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “At approximately 10:50am a collision occurred on the A548 on Victoria Road between a black coloured Ford Fiesta and a motorcycle.

“The motorcyclist was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd by ambulance to be treated for his serious arm injuries. The female driver of the Fiesta was uninjured.”

The appeal was made by PC 2601 Williams, of the Roads Policing Unit, he said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or the events leading up to it to contact us as soon as possible. I’m also keen to hear from anybody who may have been travelling in the area and who may have dash cam footage.”
