Third sector’s Trustees Week
DENBIGHSHIRE’S charity sector network will stage a series of talks on how individuals and third sector groups can help their communities.
Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council (DVSC), the membership body for charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises will host a range of workshops as part of Trustees Week 2020 from Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 6.
They include Good Governance (10.30am-11am on November 3), Diversifying Your Board (4pm-6pm on November 4), Denbighshire Volunteers Third Sector Network (10am-11.30am on November 5) and Why young trustees are so important (2pm-3pm on November 5), as well as the Emerging Chairs Programme (9.30am-5pm on November 12).
Lisa Williams, DVSC’s finance and business manager, said trustees make “an enormous contribution” to the third sector in Denbighshire.
“Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved,” she added.
