A WOULD-be-thief put a fishing pole through a letterbox during an attempted burglary but then, dropped it.
The incident happened sometime overnight - from the evening of October 7 onto October 8 - on Aled Avenue in Rhyl.
North Wales Police Community Safety Central tweeted: "Please keep all keys and belongings out of reach of your letterbox to stop this happening to you."
