A PERSON has been charged with murder following the death of a 20-year-old man in Bangor.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Llandudno Magistrates tomorrow.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Jon Russell, said: “Despite an individual being charged with murder we will continue to provide community reassurance in the area.

“Detectives from the investigation team will also continue to conduct inquires locally and I’d reiterate my appeal that should anyone have any information that will help us fully understand the sequence of events that led to the death of Dean Harry Skillin or were outside the Waverly Hotel at around 10.30pm on Saturday night I’d ask they contact police.”

Anyone with any information relating to this incident is urged to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference Y139039.
