AN APPEAL has been launched for volunteers to help in the Sense charity shop in Rhyl has been launched.

Nathan Jones who works in the High Street store said: “We would love some volunteers to come and join us to steam, price, tag bric a brac, books, stock media or just make a cup of tea for a few hours a day. This would make such a difference to the charity and the community.

“Come and ask in the store about volunteering.”

Sense is a charity which supports people living with complex disabilities.

The shop which is located at 50 High Street across the road the road from the CEX game store with the Beatles memorial in the window.

It opened last March to a fanfare of publicity which tied into Rhyl’s link with the Beatles, who performed their first concert in the North Wales resort in July 1962 at the Regent Dansette Ballroom.

This is the second Sense charity shop to open in Wales.
