The cafe, which has continued to provide a takeaway service during the Coronavirus lockdown period, will be open on select days between 10am and 4pm.

New measures put into place at Caffi Cariad, to ensure the safety of customers and staff, include; tables being set 2m apart from one another, a track and trace system and a maximum of two households being able to sit on a table of four with a time limit of 90 minutes.

Tables and equipment will be sanitised thoroughly, the till will be shielded and food will be delivered to customer's tables on a trolley.

Caffi Cariads' popular afternoon tea service, which has been provided as a takeaway during lockdown, will continue both in and out of house too and a range of food, including sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads will be offered. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

A spokesperson for the cafe said: "Our afternoon teas have been going on for over a month and have proved really popular, so we're carrying on with those.

"We can't wait to re-open the cafe next week, we've done everything in our power to ensure that it is as safe as possible for anyone visiting us".
