POLICE have issued a warning to residents following overnight break-ins in Prestatyn.
North Wales Police said on its NWP Coastal and Abergele Facebook page that two break-ins took place near Marine Road on the night of Sunday, September 6.
The break-ins could have taken place as residents did not put their windows on latches.
The Facebook statement said: "Following two break-ins on Carradoc Road, Prestatyn overnight we would just like to remind people to secure their addresses and consider placing windows on latches.
"If you see suspicious behavior in your area them please follow up with a call to NWP."
The force's 'The Big Easy' campaign that aims to prevent theft also suggests checking that you have secure locks on doors and register electronic items so they can be traced if stolen. For more information visit www.north-wales.police.uk/campaigns/the-big-easy
