A GOLF association has handed a charity donation to the North Wales coastguard.
Abergele Golf Club Seniors' Association presented a cheque of £175.50 to the Llandudno RNLI Station. The sum was collected from bucket donations and entry fees at the association's Seniors' RNLI Cup on Monday, August 3.
A total of 60 players took part in the competition, with winner Neville Eden completing the final hole with a nett score of 66 strokes.
The Abergele Golf Seniors' Association has a further two charity cup competitions this year; the RNLI Cup and the Poppy Appeal Cup for the Royal British Legion, which will be played on Monday, October 26.
