FIREFIGHTERS tackled a gorse fire covering 5sqm in Denbighshire late last night.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service say they recieved a call to attend the incident, which took place in Llanarmon-yn-Ial, at 9.24pm.
A spokesperson said: "This was the result of a controlled burning which had been left unattended and caused 5qm of gorse to be set on fire.
"One crew from Ruthin attended the incident."
