A TRIO of parents have brought together children at a Prestatyn school digitally to immortalise 10 weeks of Clap for Carers.
Throughout lockdown Claire Roberts, Katie Gardner and Kirsty Wildgoose have gathered clips of more than 100 Ysgol Clawd Offa pupils from different year groups to keep spirits up and thank school staff with videos of gratitude.
However, to mark the tenth and final ritual, at 8pm on Thursday, May 28, 58 pupils from across the school came together virtually for a short film thanking frontline staff and key workers.
Miss Roberts, whose children Olly and Izzy Hughes appear in the video, said: “We just wanted to do something for the children to keep, so they can remember in years to come what we did as a community and as a school to keep spirits high, have some fun and show that we are all in this together.”
