A CHURCH has been working hard to keep its parishioners connected during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prestatyn Church in Wales, supporting Christ Church, Church of the Holy Spirit and the Bryn a Môr Mission Area, have been putting devotional videos and services online.
Members of the church are now looking at ways of teaching internet use.
Reverend David Ash, vicar, said: "Our services online have been very well received and seen by far more people than generally attend on a Sunday, which is specially significant when you appreciate that a sizeable proportion of those 'regulars' are not internet users.
"For VE75, we had an online Civic Service with contributions from the mayor cllr Tony Flynn, the Royal British Legion and Prestatyn and Meliden Cytun (Churches Together).
"We are currently looking at ways of teaching internet use to those who might one day log on, distributing dvds of services for those who still can't and developing greater use of sites like Zoom."
The church has a YouTube channel - Prestatyn Church in Wales, as well as Facebook page Prestatyn Church in Wales.
The latest online service was for Pentecost.
