FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a blaze at Dorothea Quarry.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call was received shortly before 8.45pm on Saturday reporting the incident, in Talysarn.
Crews used a pair of hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which involved 200 square metres of gorse, bracken and small trees.
A spokesman for the fire service said the cause of the incident is unknown.
