A YOUNG girl's drawing is set to go global as it is printed on t-shirts.

Katie-Leigh Roberts, of Aston Park wanted to say a special thank you to key workers - and now her special design is available to buy only.

Mum Jane Wilkinson said her seven-year-old daughter started drawing pictures every week with the rainbow theme to symbolise hope.

She drew her own version of a sunflower and coloured it in with rainbow colours which was soon picked up by a clothing company.

Jane said: "The company came up on Facebook so I sent the design off on the off chance and explained what it was and they were over the moon.

"They did a mock up and sent it to the printers and it turned out brilliant. She now has her own T-Shirt design which is being sold worldwide on the internet.

"I wasn't expecting this response.

"She's also drawn around 50 rainbow pictures for neighbours around our estate which have been put up in windows and she's been designing birthday cards for (community group) Nanny Biscuit to take to local care homes.

"She also made a little care package for the nurses at Aston Community Hospital. She's non-stop.

"I'm really proud of her. She was over the moon with the T-Shirt and she's been wearing hers.

"I think the design is fantastic, it reinforces the message that there's a rainbow in every storm."
