POLICE warn that driving under the influence of drugs won’t be tolerated after several arrests were made in the last 24 hours across North Wales.

A spokesman for the Roads Policing Unit said: “Despite our repeated messages around the dangers of drug driving we continue to make arrests. Further arrests made by the team yesterday/last night on the A55 at Llanddulas, Penrhyn Bay, Rhyl, Mold & Wrexham.”

The spokesman adds that “proactive patrols will continue” in the area.
