THE rocking night of live music is still on cards for Rhyl in 2020.

Rock for Heroes at the Pavilion has been rescheduled for October.

Originally due to take place on May 7, Rock for Heroes will get back on the road in the autumn with the perfect pandemic tonic blended from your favourite Rock and Pop artists' best tunes all the while, fundraising in support of the veteran's charity Help for Heroes.

Joined by a full live band and singers, frontmen Phil and Will will repay the audiences kindness with a selection of the very best rock tunes from bands such as Queen, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Status Quo, Bryan Adams, Elton John, AC/DC, Whitesnake and more.A spokesperson for the show said: “We will be collecting for this amazing cause, after every show - it’s a long plan!"

“You won’t see a bad wig here, this isn’t a tribute act this is simply paying tribute, the best way we can to the legends in music.”

Prior to Covid-19, the event's current tour - now on hiatus - had seen front men Phil and Will collectively net more than £30,000 towards its £2.5 million goal.

To keep their skills fresh during lock down, performers from the show have been busy presenting performances from their homes via the 'Rock for Heroes' event Facebook page.

At the start of the month, frontman Phil led the Rock for Heroes crew in a 24hour live music marathon, raising £2,720 for NHS Charities Together.

For a well needed night of live music and laughter, head to the Pavilion on Saturday, October 3 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £23, to book visit rhylpavilion.co.uk or call the box office on 01745 330000.
