A ROCKY friend has appeared in Buckley in a bid to engage the local community.
A snake made of painted rocks has been placed near St Matthews Park on Rhuddlan Road.
Etna the snake is encouraging children to paint more rocks to add to her body so she can continue to grow during the coronavirus lockdown.
The rocky reptiles have been appearing across Flintshire and Wrexham to capture imagination during the pandemic.
A sign is placed near the snake encouraging people to take part to see how long it could grow.
The Leader previously reported that the rock snake in Connah's Quay was started by two siblings who wanted to do something a bit different.
That has since grown to over 100 rocks and will soon be named.
