JOURNAL readers went all out to celebrate Captain Tom Moore's 100th birthday after he became a fundraising hero.
The war veteran, made an honorary colonel for his milestone birthday on Wednesday, April 30, is now having a well deserved rest after raising more than £32-million for NHS Charities Together.
Children, families and care home residents from across Conwy and Denbighshire were keen to show their appreciation for Captain Tom's efforts.
Cards were made as well as cakes, posters, videos and cardboard cut outs.
Denbighshire pageant girls and boys put together a poster to wish captain Tom a 'Happy Birthday' and to celebrate the wonderful amount raised.
The Denbighshire pageant community also created a video, where they sang both in English and Welsh, and recited a poem.
Darlene Fallorina, part of the community, said: "It was a wonderful project to keep spirits up in the current situation.
"All of the pageant girls and boys in the poster are active members in the community and support various charities."
Renee, aged 100, and staff at Rhyl's Bradshaw Manor Care Home, made a poster and sent their good wishes to captain Tom.
Staff from across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board made a video for the centenarian. The video featured Abergele district nurses and Glan Clwyd Hospital emergency department.
