Elderly woman being treated in hospital after police officers rescue her from her burning home in Abergele
A WOMAN in her seventies is being treated in hospital after a fire at in Abergele home.
Firefighters from Abergele and Colwyn Bay were called to a property at Gorwel just before 4pm today (Tuesday, April 14).
A woman, believed to be in her seventies, was rescued from the property by police officers who happened to be in the area.
She has been transferred to hospital for treatment and is believed to be in a serious condition.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire is under investigation in conjunction with North Wales Police.
