Coronavirus.
MORE than 25,000 people across the UK are now confirmed to have coronavirus, health chiefs have announced.
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed that as of 9am on Tuesday, a total of 143,186 people have been tested.
Of those, 25,150 tested positive.
A spokesman for the department also confirmed that as of 5pm on Monday, of those hospitalised in the UK, 1,789 have died.
