A WREXHAM high school is rewarding acts of kindness and positivity displayed by its students amid the coronavirus crisis.

Ysgol Rhiwabon is looking to award positive behaviour points to its learners for any public act of community kindness carried out from the safety of home.

This might be by writing postcards and letters to people who feel lonely through the necessary isolation, sharing creative art, music and dance through technology or completing chores around the house.

Adults can join the challenge, as the school would like to hear how families in the area might be volunteering to shop and carry out important deliveries to those who are vulnerable or be carrying out essential jobs that highlight a selfless way commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of others.

Next week there will be a form on Ysgol Rhiwabon's website to complete ready to share, or simply email in any information about acts of kindness in the community.

In the future, the school plans to celebrate this challenge through an Awards Ceremony and says it looks forward to seeing everyone there.
