A DEESIDE gym has launched an online workout guide amid social distancing .
On Friday, the government announced that all pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and gyms across the UK were to close in order to stem the recent coronavirus outbreak.
In the wake of the announcement, Energie Fitnesss, in Queensferry, has launched a new Facebook group to help keep people active
The group, titled ‘Energie Fitness Deeside ONLINE’, provides members and non-members with daily home workouts, live classes, fun challenges as well as general fitness tips and advice.
Lauren Nield, club host and personal trainer at Énergie Fitness Deeside, said: "As a Flintshire community fitness club, we felt obligated to our members to keep providing a service even though we are closed. "Not only is fitness still very important for one's general health, it is also super great for stress-relief and mental-health.
"Our fun, engaging online content will give people the opportunity to workout from the comfort of their own homes, either individually or alongside other family members.”
