NURSES at Glan Clwyd Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit have issued a desperate plea people - to stay at home during the Coronavirus pandemic.

A photograph of medical staff holding up wording has been shared. It says: 'We stay at work for you. Please stay at home for us.'

The plea has been echoed by Dr Emma Hosking, hospital medical director and consultant anaesthetist, who added the message: “Some of our wonderful Glan Clwyd frontline staff with a key message.

"Please share widely.”

People are being urged to stay at home to stay safe and to protect others.

The Welsh Government will be writing to all the GPs and vulnerable individuals in Wales with the details relating to shielding guidance.
