GIANT daffodils invaded Rhyl High Street on Saturday. All Pictures Phil Micheu.
There's no need to panic however as the arrival of the mammoth narcissus formed part of celebrations on Saturday in the town to mark St David's Day.
Rhyl Town Council's hosted a series of fun events to celebrate the patron saint of Wales.
The daffodils, played by performers on stilts, were joined by musicians including Ghostbuskers for a series of live music performances.
There were also daff giveaways.
Rhyl Mayor Cllr Ellie Chard and Cllr Brian Blakely were also on hand for the fun.
