THE public have been warned to stay away from exposed parts of the coast near Treaddur Bay and elsewhere on Anglesey.
A spokesperson for Anglesey county council said: “Conditions are worsening in coastal areas. Sea water is spraying onto roads in Treaddur Bay. One of our inspectors has seen people putting themselves in danger in taking photos of waves. Please follow Marine and Coastguard Agency advice and stay away.”
The Marine and Coastguard Agency has advised the public: “Storm Dennis is in full swing, bringing with it some dangerous conditions at the coast. Stay weather aware and safe by avoiding getting too close to or going into the water. If you do see someone in trouble at the coast or in the sea ring 999 and ask fir the Coastguard.”
