A DRUG-DRIVER who’d taken cocaine and MDMA the previous night had gone through red traffic lights in a van at Prestatyn, a weekend special court heard.
Alan Roberts, 42, an electrician, of Lon Cadfan, Prestatyn, was banned for 16 months and fined a total of £700 with £117 costs. He admitted drug-driving and careless driving last July.
Defence solicitor Huw Roberts told magistrates at Llandudno that the defendant had been popping to a garage for cigarettes when police saw the Ford Transit. The drugs were still in his system from the previous night and there was remorse.
