AN ENVIRONMENTAL project will work to clear land ahead of tree planting.
The Morfa Gateway project in Prestatyn work every week in partnership with Denbighshire Countryside services on a project called Nature for Health - which is now entering its third year.
On Monday, Pete Harrison and Steve Fenner, of the Morfa Gateway project, and ICAN community hub will work alongside Countryside services, Keep Wales Tidy and Ysgol y Llys, Prestatyn, to carry out the prep work.
Pete said: “It is fantastic to see the knowledge and enthusiasm of the younger members. of our community when working on environmental projects.
"I love the fact that all the recent hedge and tree planting with lots of different community groups of all ages will be benefitting the younger ones in the future.
“With recent fantastic news about the 35-acre wetland alongside this area, having recently been saved for community use for generations to come, Denbighshire is doing really well in its conservation efforts and the balance of nature and commerce in Prestatyn is fantastic.”
