A MAN who sustained serious injuries in a Rhyl disturbance has been discharged from hospital.

Another person was arrested in connection with the incident on Windsor Street, in the town centre, and has been released under investigation.

The investigation is ongoing into the disturbance, which occurred during the early hours of Saturday, January 25 and saw police cordon of the street into the afternoon.

Detective Inspector Elfyn Hughes said: “Although this incident was serious we would like to reassure the public there are no concerns for the wider community.”

“We continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area of Windsor Street, Rhyl between 9.30pm on Friday 24 and 4.15am on Saturday 25 and who may have witnessed this incident to call us.”
