POLICE are urging householders to make sure the rear of their properties are secure after a series of break-ins.
Police say there have been a number of recent burglaries where thieves have gained access through patio doors at the back of houses.
North Wales Police's Eastern community safety team tweeted: "We are having a series of burglaries whereby thieves are breaking in via rear patio doors.
"Make it as difficult as you can for thieves to get around the back of your property.
"Install gates, close gates, install security lighting and CCTV.
