A CARER for two vulnerable men had resigned after it was discovered that he had been withdrawing hundreds of pounds from their bank accounts.
Daniel Davies, 28, of Ddol Hyfryd, Gronant, admitted two charges of fraud while a carer for the charity Cartrefi Ni involving £950.
Solicitor Dafydd Roberts, defending, told magistrates at Llandudno that Davies’s marriage had broken down, he’d been in a psychiatric unit, and he had mortgage arrears. “My client was desperate,” the lawyer said.
Davies was ashamed of what he did, Mr Roberts added.
The defendant was bailed until January 17 for a pre-sentence report and to link up with another case.
