RHYL Football Club youngsters have been spreading the Christmas spirit around the town tis December.

Players from the Under 10's and 11's sides have been spending their Christmas breaks delivering festive hampers to the Wellspring Christian Centre Food Bank in Rhyl.

The Foodbank Centre plays a vital part in assisting local residents in need of support and the young players with their parents ensured that some of the users of the foodbank would not go without this Christmas.

hyl FC Academy Coaches Matty Roberts and Lee Bubb commented that: "The centre do a fantastic job supporting people in need throughout the year, but especially during this festive season.

"We were delighted to see the players coming together to get these contributions together and take time out to help others in their local community. They have been a real credit to the Club.”

The Food Bank say they are still seeking donations to assist those in need during what can be a difficult time of year for many in the region.
